Rich in flavor and packed with collagen, turkey necks are an excellent choice for making homemade stock, broth, soups, sauces, and stews. With plenty of connective tissue and just the right amount of meat, they create a deeply flavorful broth while leaving behind tender meat to enjoy after cooking.
How to Prepare
For even more flavor, roast or sear the turkey necks first. Then simmer them low and slow for 6–12 hours to create a rich broth that gels beautifully once cooled. Enjoy the broth on its own or use it in soups, sauces, and stews. The meat on the necks will become tender and can be shredded for soups, tacos, sandwiches, or enjoyed on its own.
